Learn About Glacier Park Here

How We Protect Our Guests

Smoky Bear Ranch has always been fanatical about cleanliness, long before recent concerns of COVID-19.

Glacier National Park and surrounding area are pristine environments, and we wanted our existence here to be no less.

We made a conscious decision when opening our lodging facility (26 years ago) to meticulously clean our rooms and cabins ourselves, ensuring a sterile environment for each and every guest.

Kitchens and bathrooms, including the floors, are cleaned with a disinfecting solution, bath towels and bed linens are washed in hot water and dried on high heat, windows and doors are cleaned with disinfectants.

Partially used disposables, such toilet paper, plastic cups, bath and hand soaps, shampoos, etc., are replaced with fresh, unused equivalents.

Community areas such as the Check-in counter and Dining room are kept meticulously clean throughout the day using a disinfecting solution or disinfecting wipes.

Food selection and preparation is handled with utmost care in our regularly inspected kitchen (we organically grow our own vegetables, fruits, and herbs).

Water in the facility comes from our own 200ft deep well (tested annually for contaminants).

Over the last 26 years we have seen and weathered other health, natural disaster, and financial challenges, and sincerely believe the global efforts behind COVID-19 will result in a relatively efficient and successful recovery.

Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions you have about vacationing in beautiful Montana.
